Standard Shopify search logic is based on keywords matching, when AI search recognizes much broader contexts such as synonyms, use cases, problems to solve. Using language models Smart Search identifies the visitor's intention and suggests products that fit it, even if there are no keyword matches in titles and descriptions.
For the cases when there are no results for customer's query you can set up specific products or keywords to recommend, so your customers never see just a blank "No results" state.
The new search logic will replace the old one without breaking it, so your native Shopify search settings will remain the same and you will be able to get back to it whenever needed. You just turn our widget off and your previous search will be back in place.

The widget replaces your current Shopify search, it doesn't affect any of your quizzes or recommendation logic, it only adds another way your customers can find suitable products. Also you can link the search to lead to specific quizzes when visitors type some specific search queries.
You absolutely can do the setup without a developer. Everything you need to do: enable the widget, adjust it's look in a visual editor, set what to recommend when there are no results found, add products/keywords you want to promote (if some).
If the results doesn't meet your expectations - you can just uninstall the app, your subscription will be cancelled automatically, the search experience will be switched back to Shopify native search with the setup you had before using our app.
